On this website

Most pages on this site set one third-party cookie, from Meta, so that we can show advertising to people who have visited. It records that a browser visited a page. It does not record who you are, and we do not combine it with anything else.

Three pages are excluded. There is no tracking of any kind on harm reduction, on the questions page, or on the page about the molecule, because what someone reads there is closer to health information than we are willing to send anywhere.

It also does not run for visitors in the United Kingdom, the European Union, or the wider European Economic Area.

There is no other analytics on this site. We do not know how long you spent here or what you read.

You can refuse it. Most browsers block third-party cookies in their settings, and Meta's own opt-out is available directly. Blocking it changes nothing about how this site works for you.

If you apply

The application form is hosted by Typeform, on a separate website. When you click through to it you are leaving this site, and the cookie above does not follow you there.

The form asks for your name and contact details, and it asks about your health: whether you have taken a psychedelic before, and whether you are taking psychiatric medication. Both are health information, and we treat them as such.

Where it goes. Into GoHighLevel, the system we use to manage applications and to contact you about yours. The health answers are also provided to the physician who determines eligibility, because that is what he is assessing.

Where it does not go. We do not sell it. We do not use it for advertising. We do not pass it to Meta or to any advertising platform. There is no tracking of any kind on the application form. Nothing about your health leaves the two places named above.

Email. If you apply, we will email you about your application. You are not added to a marketing list.

Payment. If you proceed, the deposit and the balance are taken by Stripe, who hold your card details. We see the last four digits and the name on the card, and nothing more.

How long we keep it

If you apply and are not accepted, we delete your application within twelve months.

If you become a client, we hold your records for seven years, which matches the retention period the physician is professionally required to observe.

The experience itself

If you are accepted, a separate agreement governs your participation, including recording and consent. That agreement is provided before you sign anything and is not summarised here. Ask us for it at any point.

What happens on the day — who is in the room, what is recorded, who can access it — is set out on harm reduction.

Asking us

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@awakenwith5.com and we will respond within thirty days.

Deletion has one limit worth stating. Where the physician holds records as part of his professional obligations, those are his to retain rather than ours to delete, and the seven-year period above applies.

Where we are

Awaken with 5 operates from Kelowna, British Columbia. Information is held in Canada and the United States, depending on the service.

Changes

If this changes, the date at the top changes. We will not make a material change quietly.
